Jules Pyke

Jules is an accomplished recording and mixing engineer in both music and broadcast. He has worked the length and breadth of the music industry with major artists such as Jimmy Cliff and Kool and the Gang.

In broadcast, he has freelanced for British Sky Broadcasting. A skilled programmer and editor on Logic and Pro Tools, Jules also composes music for film and television. For some time, he has had compositions featured on international shows such as Faking It and the Oprah Winfrey show. Jules has also mixed live events such as John Kennedy’s Sunday Sessions for XFM. Jules is a self-confessed Apple Mac aficionado.

He was such a warm and approachable guy that my nerves at playing in front of someone else evaporated very quickly. ‘I have used audio support on two occasions both of which have been very successful. After having my Logic system upgraded, I asked the shop who did the upgrade to show me round the new system. With very little success from the shop, who didn’t seem keen to show me how to use it, I gave audio support a ring. Paul came round and set up my studio and showed me round the new software. He has a fantastic approach and answered all of my fundamental questions making sure I knew how to use the equipment to its potential. The second occasion was some further training in Logic from Julian and Jules, both of whom were excellent. It was a day that proved to be very useful with me gaining some step by step procedures in order to improve my music making. Paul, Julian and Jules Pyke are very good teachers who are not only very secure in their skills and knowledge but are very good at putting it across to someone with little experience.
