In April 2025 I started experimenting with Gemini, (Google’s AI, freely available to anyone with a Google account.) I found the AI interface incredibly easy to interact with and saw that Gemini could be massively beneficial to my Audio Support business and life in general.
Writing Partner
For my Audio Support work, I have been using Gemini to draft and restructure my case study blog posts and rewrite pages explaining my services. Gemini is able to take my input in the form of typed notes or speech-to-text and turn it into well formatted content for this site. I read Gemini’s output and together we refine it before publishing it. This process allows me to produce content far richer in terms of readability and helpfulness for users than I ever have been able to on my own.
Improved SEO
Gemini has also given me very helpful advice on how to structure my content for search engine optimization. This allows search engine crawlers and other AI web agents to find, read and index my content more easily. I’m already seeing a growth in traffic.
Augmentation, Not Replacement
As it stands, some of the text on the site is written entirely by myself and some of it is written with the assistance of Gemini. None of the content on this site is auto-generated by AI. I do find that Gemini can make mistakes (for example with names of different music technology products) but I am able to spot and correct these.
The Future
I’m very excited by all the opportunities that AI is offering to the world and especially to myself as an entrepreneur working in a niche area that combines creativity and technology.
I am currently building and training an AI that will exist on the Audio Support site to answer pro audio tech support questions and help clients to arrange bookings for my time.
I’m also setting up AI Confidence Coaching sessions as a new offering from Audio Support.
Personally, I’m excited and feeling optimistic about the positive changes that AI will bring to all our lives in the next few years.
